Life Is In The Blood

Good afternoon Friends, Believers in Christ, Saints of God. I want you to know that God loves you and will forgive anyone who truly are repentant of their sins. Whatever that person, people, or nation have done, there is forgiveness of sins. God will forgive those with a broken, contrite, and humble heart. He will see those tears and forgive their sin (2 Kings 20: 5).

Romans 3: 23 says “For all sinned and have come short of the Glory of God”.

1 John 1:9  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

The Sin Nature is the state of all men, women, children. Due to the fall (Adam and Eve), we have and are born in sin. There is no good in us. Where did it begin? When Satan was cast out of Heaven (Isaiah 14: 12) What was the sin of Adam and Eve? It was Disobedience to God. You see disobedience culminates a multitude of other sins. It compounds one upon the other. The entire Bible lists and reveals the types of sins from Genesis through Revelation. Sin has its payday. It always does!

 Romans 6: 23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

 In some shape, form, or manner, God’s justice will be exacted upon us in this life for our disobedience, our unfaithfulness, our lack of belief. Why? for correction and to turn back to God. There is a price tag for sin that must be paid (Romans 6: 23). I know this personally.  Saint’s, you can read and plainly see this displayed throughout the Old Testament and New Testament regarding the Children of God, His chosen people. WE the truly Born-Again Believer are grafted into the plan and family of God. So yes, this applies to us. Remember this (Romans 11: 17-19).  Because of Israel’s disobedience God handed them over to their captors. God cannot look upon sin. It is removed from Him. Have no doubt about it, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they fled from His sight, they tried to hide from Him. When God came looking for them to fellowship with them, God knew that they had disobeyed. He always knows. No one can hide their sin from God. God confronted them, addressed the sin, and expelled them from the Garden. However, before they were expelled, God took His creation (Genesis 3: 21), and sacrificed those animals, shed their innocent blood (a type of Christ as a remission for their sins) and made coats for Adam and Eve. So that they would be clothed and live. To teach them that there is a price for sin, and it is blood. Life is in the Blood.

Leviticus 17: 11 reads “For the life of the flesh is in the blood (Jesus Christ): and I (God) have given it to you upon the Altar (the Cross) to make an Atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes Atonement for the soul”.

As there is physical life and death, there is also spiritual life and death. Jesus said;

John 10: 10 “The thief cometh not but for to steal, and kill, and destroy: I (Jesus Christ) have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly (physical and spiritual)”.

 How is this life obtained? How is Salvation obtained? It is of God. Through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The Cross made the way by Jesus Christ who willingly laid down His life for us with the shedding of His Blood and taking on Himself all our sins and sickness. Imputing His Righteousness to us. His punishment for our sin was brutal and yet while being beaten, punched in the face, lashes on His back, spit on, His beard torn out, and a crown of thorns pressed into His brow, shaking and trembling because of the pain, bleeding profusely, unrecognizable, He never opened His mouth.

Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth”.

Finally, at the end of Calvary’s Road, to which He carried His cross to Golgotha’s Hill, He was nailed to that Cross. His side pierced with a Roman sword, bleeding upon those beams. Jesus Christ paid it all for us! Why? Because He Loves Us (John 3:16)! So, we would have peace with God. So, we that would believe in Him and be saved. The Blood of Jesus washes away all sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. You won’t be the same person once you accept Him as your Lord and Savior. And not only receive Him as your Lord and Savior but remain in Christ. No matter what. Get into His Word (The Holy Bible), Reading and Praying faithfully to the Father daily. For In Him, Jesus Christ, is life, eternal life. The price was high. The ultimate price was paid with His Sacrifice. His Blood was spilled for us. We know as truly Born-Again Believers, that He also is raised from the dead. Jesus Christ is Alive! He is the King of kings, and Lord of lords! And one day very soon we shall meet Him face to face. Receive Christ as your Savior today, you won’t regret it. Hallelujah!
