Have Faith

Have Faith

“FAITH means- belief, firm persuasion, assurance, firm conviction, faithfulness. It is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the Lord is working, even though we cannot see it. Real faith is knowing, trusting, and believing in God, that no matter what the situation is in our lives or someone else’s, that the Lord God Jehovah-Rapha is working out all things for our good.”

Hebrews 11:1
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Faith should be exercised daily by the believers. It is why I believe incredibly that believers should pray every day. Until now you’ve tried it on your own. I know it’s hard at times in the morning with so much going on i.e., getting ready for work, school, meetings, etc. Prayers can be done anywhere and anytime. They don’t have to be long and drawn out. Prayers can be short; while getting your coffee, shaving, putting makeup on, or on your way to work. Whatever it is, pray and ask God for His help every morning. Ask Him to help you in whatever is going on. The Lord hears you because you are His. He knows your heart and what you’ll be facing. He is waiting and willing. With this in mind, take a moment and say a meaningful short prayer and believe that God will take care of you. Now that you know that you can do nothing with God, give Him all of you, all your day, and keep your thoughts of the things of God. Our Heavenly Father will always be there if you just call on His name. Say Jesus, help me today. I can’t do this by myself. I need you. Then, give Him praise for the victory. For in due time, you’ll see God in the midst. Start every day like this, without doubt you’ll see God working. You only need to get out His way and let God perform in your life.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
